The subject matter of my photographs is multiple activities happened in the alleyway and the seriality which photos different people who playing mahjong in the alleyway. As someone said: alleyway is a city behind the city. I quite agreed with these words when I walking through different alleyways. Just as the alleyway showed in <Little Cheung> where Fan washes dishes and meets Little Cheung, the city in the alleyway is different from what it is shown from “surface ”that we watched every day. I had been to Mongkok lots of times and it represents busy, shopping, delicious food and mass of people in my mind. However, when you just turned into the narrow alleyway, you can see different things: people wearing tidy suitcase are smoking in the dirty area; tired dustman is sleeping in the quiet covert; leisurely residents are playing games; some small workshops hidden in because of the expensive storefronts fee. You will be shocked by the contrasts of the differences alleyways and the main roads which are existed in one area.

The legend shows the activities in the alleyway

Contrast:  Wide space and narrow space of the alleyway.

Your constructed diagram helps indeed to locate these specific moments; you have captured very interesting moments, yet I wonder if one continues storyboard, such as focus only on one activity might have framed the story into an investigation of illegal gambling/smoking/etc.
