The overall storyline of the film will focus on two characters; human and a tree (will be further specified in the film). This film is an allegory that conveys a message on the relationship between human beings and nature, which two characters will represent respectively. The daily routine has changed and nature has also changed in response. The air has been cleared as human activities have decreased and people are more focusing on indoor activities or less active activities that they can do within a limited area. The change of relationship will be shown through the transition of colour.

With so many things coming up in my mind when I think about what a life we have spent during the special period, I then rethink about the relationship between objects. Our lives are different with the lives before. Now we study at home, have dinner with families everyday, chat with friends online and “travel” online. As written in the mood board, people have been freed from staying at home, I would like to design a documentary that record people’s life after the threat of COVID-19, and express the idea that no matter how many things we have gone throw, our life should go on as usual finally.

Fear comes from uncertainty. Along with fake news and conspiracies, it spreads like wildfire. People stay at home and stay away from the pandemic. But everything just come too fast such that break us into fragments. We have too many hardships these years. So in 2021 we imprison ourselves and are numb to everything. You can’t awaken someone who is pretending to be asleep. To some degree, we know what is happening around us. To some degree, we escape from it with impunity.
