Personally, I like ‘Ready to go’ the most. As a first person view photograph, it really recreated the most frequent, yet not that noticeable moment that we went through everyday during the past few months. Besides the meaning, lighting and contrasts provided by the translucent nature of a mask is unexpectedly stunning, at the same time creating a theatric feeling, just as dramatic as the outbreak of the coronavirus. All these features added up and provides a more thorough journey across our visual and intellectual senses, hence this photograph became my favourite among the others.

You have presented a well-curated and thoughtful series of images that are reflective of your relationship with your immediate environment. Your selection of techniques and subject matter convey well the narrative of going out (yet not quite). Is your point to set up the futility of going out but not able to? If so, that’s some innovative thinking.
You demonstrate an excellent understanding of the camera angles,.Especially well done is the chiaroscuro of the piece you titled “the fine line of lay and wake.”
Appreciate your stop-motion approach to Seriality: “the change of accessories.”
Overall technically well executed and an intelligent series.
Thoughtful writing reflection on “ready to go” on the balance between the ongoing crisis and the unexpected beauty produced.

Thanks for your comments! To answer your question, yes, I wanted to set up the futility. That’s why I tried to focus on people staying home on Saturdays, no one drives to the outside, watching news for updates, laying in the room/bed or self-entertainments etc. I am flattered that you noticed the little details I tried to plant!
