Mood Board; Thaika Fathima Ifaza Description: I have name this mood board as full in life because it is talking about the fullness and the peace in life. Using promenades in Hong Kong as a way to relax and have closeness with family and friends. While using a promenade, i have also added a glimpse of café in the mood board, this shows that there is a peaceful place that people can hang out in.
The mood board highlight the Hong Kong street view form morning to night, it is noted that on the top left corner, there is sunrise which i take it as people who has dream in Hong Kong, also the beginning of the story. In the midden part of the mood board, it shows the bustling of Hong Kong, but bustling has it own price which people may lose their time the find their dream. It highlights the efficiency and convenience of the MTR, with people traveling by it. The focus is on how MTR brings vitality to the development of the city, emphasizing its role in connecting people, facilitating mobility and prosperity.
The theme of my video is traditional gates which are in silver color and made of metal usually. Therefore, I put the picture of shiny metal to show the shininess. I put the Marvel character – silver surfer cause when I work with silver metal, I would think of him. Also, the color tone of the character provides a greater color gradient of silver showed in the picture at the bottom left corner. Derived from the name of a Jazz standard, ‘recorda me’ represents the meaning of ‘remember me’ in Portuguese, which is suitable for my feeling on these vanishing constructions. The basic colour of the video I prepare to present is black and white, which is inspired by ‘Roma’, a movie I loved.
