[Mood Board] Post-COV: HK2021

Two music videos shows two color tones or moods: a blue, depressed, nearly drowning environment; a quiet inner city under the yellow streetlight. The former one represents the deadly impacts on Hong Kong’s society and communal activities while the latter one shows the long-lasting cityscape and living style of locals.

Hygiene products like mask, alcohol sanitizer, anti-bacteria wet tissue become part of our daily use items. The sketches show on-going works or projects even under the virus (for me: preparation for 2020 Venice Biennale Exhibition, though the situation is not stable in Italy). Cooking at home becomes our habit, or even improves skills on our meal. The coronavirus once altered the pulse of our city but we are going to live on, even the battle takes us years, with knowledge and wise.

    • How does the home interior situate in your documentary?
    • Consider focusing on a singular space to discuss your subject.
    • More research is necessary at this beginning stage. Look at journals and publications on the discussion and operation of the selected space.
