[MoodBoard] Oversaturation

Oversaturation personifies the terror of living under COVID-19 with psychdelic-colored fluids. The life is drained out of the main character, thus the desaturated colors, as a result of the negativity that resulted from the pandemic, a nauseating flow of colors and information. The animatronic starts slow, but as the fear propagates with the disease, the pace picks up, the switching of scenes accelerating with a steady rhythm. This tension builds and is resolved by a reassuring call from a friend bursting through the wall of colors, and the fear starts to fade. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

    – Depending on the point of view of your subject, consider it engages the spaces it is in.
    – Reconsider the use of psychedelic colors that are more often associated with ecstacy and drugs.
    – Explore the theatre concept of layering content on a minimalistic interior as base setting.
