I would say all three aspects are equally important. When designing costumes, no matter how deep we delve into character building, we also need a complete understanding of the story to let them thrive and become alive. By giving life to a believable character on a given situation: be it in the past or in the future, horror or romance, the reality that really matter in a film, is the reality that we CREATE.
