They do, that’s why we normally make more than one set especially when these costumes are used in various scenes. Continuity is important and we can’t risk the costumes appeared differently in different scenes. When the material is easily worn out or colour might fade after washing, we either dry clean them or simply don’t wash them at all! That’s why when designing the costumes, choosing the right material and medium must be considered carefully.
