[Question for Director Chen] Dreamland

I appreciate your attitude toward this film. I think that the story is quite interesting since the main character is a housing salesperson—which is not a typical job in other films. When she keeps selling houses to her clients, I feel like she is also thinking about her dream life and how to keep a close relationship with her partner—she might be confused because he is a photographer who will get in touch with other women when working.

The question I would like to ask is that, I found that the lighting in this film is in a warm tone, does it have any deeper meaning, like it implies having a bright dream or future, etc.?

Thank you!

Sure, the lighting has connection to a sense of dreams or aspirations, and also memories.

I really like your style. I was wondering were there any instances where the architecture served as a metaphor or allegory for certain aspects of the narrative?
