One of the many observations that I have made is the disappearance of these historic artefacts. This mood board that I have created consists of many film camera photographs of laundry poles/hangers. captures the essence of these once-common sights adorning building exteriors, and through time and safety concerns echoed through newsletters, they are slowly being removed/replaced. [Mood Board]: “Vanishing Act: The Disappearing Laundry Lines in Hong Kong” Clothes drying racks have always been controversial in Hong Kong. Throughout history, there have been many different designs of clothes drying racks. The main reason is that the design of the clothes drying racks often leads to accidents and another reason is the urban landscape. Wang Tianyi-Cyberpunk, Y2K, and Y2.5K

exercise2_compressed Cyberpunk advocates machine manufacturing, cybernetics, and neuromechanics. Based on “low-end life and high-end science and technology”, it has advanced science and technology, and then compares the collapsed urban structure to create a visual impact effect. Y2k is the shortened term of ‘the year 2000’, and usually presents an idealized vision of the future, with optimism and utopia at its core. The design of the movie strategy strategy is based on the analysis of the current urban issues. The y2.5K style of space form is introduced, aiming at providing a healthy, comfortable, and livable living environment.
