(Chosen Type of Photography)
Personal hygiene is a growing concern for those in the world trying their best to stay clean and avoid the coronavirus. Masks is one way of doing that. These images in series show the use of masks in my own home, within the span of two weeks one box empties and a new one is opened. The growing need for masks has resulted in a lack of supply of masks in Hong Kong, and as a result more and more people aren’t leaving their homes anymore.

You demonstrate a good understanding of the tasks. Your photographs and annotations offer poignant insights into your thoughts on the ongoing situation. There is also a clear relationship between them. Appreciate your candidness in “Do not be lazy” in the Cropped shot, the choice of your shelf of cash in the View Frame shot and your composition for the evil eye Chiaroscuro shot.
The aspects that can be improved would be better control of the colors and the compositions of some of the images. For example, the way photographs 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 9 are presented, its as if they can be interchangeable, if not for your headings/annotations. Recommendation: be more deliberate in the use of each technique and the contents that you wish to include in the frame to present and communicate the idea. For the Focus shot for example, you can zero in on the single or cluster of objects you wish to focus on and allow the others to be unfocused (blur).
