I learned a lot about how the contrasts of the building and architecture in the city could influence the expression in the film. For example, in Blade Runner and also the Blade Runner 2049 the director was using high contrast building to show the high tech feel. And also in DUNE, the buildings were changed to low contrast to express the a style of uncultivated feel in the desert planet.
