Question about the film – Architecture and film

I noticed that, instead of proper changes of angle and shooting scale, the camera rarely moves in each scene. What is the purpose of that?

Maybe I am a lazy filmmaker.

Fixed shots are actually quite common. It depends which kinds of movies you watch!
