Hello, this is youngjin Im
This video jornal is about social distance and How people’s has changed. I am going to focus on people’s life as in specific situation, which they needed to be isolated from other people.
Not only coronavirus become a serious problem in Korea, but it is also became a serious problem in whole world. Like other countries, Korean government encourage people to have a distance between other people, which include their friends or co-worker. This is because virous could spread from airway. Seperation of people required people to do stop the spread of corona virus.
To stop spreading corona virus, three things are important.Keep social distance from each other, wearing mask when you need to go out, and use hand sanitizer often. Nowadays, I am focus on the things that I could do inside of house, and trying to spend my time wisely on my own, such as reading books and playing games. Many people are in similar situation with me.
I received a photo and opinion about social distance from peole nearby me. Those are my friends and family member.First of all, people in my age is now focused on their academic studies. It is impossible to go to university and have offline classes so they only have online study, which they are studying with video materials or having a class with video call, which is Skype or zoom.
Most of the unversity students having a new experience that they have never had, which has a positive side, but also negative side. For positive side, students can study in everyday or everywhere, which can be very convenient for people. However there are problems that people feel. First, it is harder to have active interaction about academy. It tooks time to get feedback from professor or having a conversation that they need to do for group work. Based on the convesation with my friends, I found out that there are some technical problem happens because most of the Korean Unversity do this type of the teaching style for the first time. Sometimes there are error in the system, and sometimes professor and students feels hard to concentrate on the study. Those young children also have different lifestyles. They also cannot go to school. It is a first time that junior school has a cyber class. They didn’t used cyber class before, because those children need instructer helps people to do the work and learn new things. If you have yonger or older siblings, it could be easier because family can be a only people that could be communication in online. Like thisAs an impact on Covid19, people only communicate with online so they started to feel isolated from the society, especially kids and old people. However, people still follow their government to solve the situaion. This shows that many people cooperate to make a safe environment from virus.

Hi, there is Jane.
Keeping a social distance now becomes a common and important things because of the outbreak of coronavirus. The video essay has a clear structure that is easy for we as audience to follow, and goes deeply into it. It not only records the daily lives but shows them from a specific view. Collecting material from families and friends help to shows the generality and particularity of lives among people. The comparison between the lives of only child and child with siblings are sensible, which let us to think about the distinct experiences of different group of people. The combination of still image, video and other forms of elements make it more expressive. It would be better if it could also talk about the additional situations related to social distance and not limited to the online study (just a very personal idea). Overall, it is an excellent and complete work which shows critical thinking as well as positive attitude towards the current issue.

Nice job explicitly talking about change in lifestyle of students. Most of them are very relatable since I am a student in a same situation as well. Having examples from nearby people made the points much more convincing. At some points, the pace is quite slow (for example in parts like ‘Only able to have activities inside’ and ‘Attend cyber-class for my education’) which made me loosen my focus (and also the video is quite long). Although this point is a personal one. Also most of the footage was biased on the new method of study that students take. I wish I can see different issues that students face. But overall, this was already very interesting to see.
Appreciate your insightful topic about online learning among different ages of students. The structure of the video is clear and guides us through issues. However, with this lengthy-4:13 minute video contains redundant content that deviates us from the core of the video. Including an introduction of the virus outbreak and activities, you do at home distracts us from the detailed “online learning” topic. Rather than doubling the required length of the video, why not try to dive deeper into the issue and focus on providing insights for digital learning? Your interviews provide us with a first-person experience of the issue. However, particularly research in the effective levels of cyberlearning among students of different ages would be effective to add to your bibliography list.
Further, apply the video techniques that you’ve learnt from the previous assignments will support the narrative better. At the moment, the stills and limited video clips hinder the communication of the documentary. A suggestion would be to look more into how interior spaces are used during online classes. And use adequate camera techniques to reflect on how this form of learning changes our perspective of home and also the usage of interior spaces. Applying this extra spatial perspective of online learning will make your documentary as a video format much more compelling. The floor plan is a useful way to think through the spatial aspects of the video.
