Love your video. The video looks at the pandemic from a creative perspective and explains the meaning of the “test” from three dimensions, giving a comfortable feeling and delivering a positive attitude. The background music is impressive as well. I really enjoyed the video.
Appreciate your innovative way of looking at the various challenges in your daily living as “tests,” suggesting a video game-like experience we are having during the virus outbreak. However, other than selecting a variety of “tests,” the video would be much more compelling if the form of test is fully explored with one focused aspect. At the moment the cooking test is the most compelling one and has so many unexplored potentials. Food preparation is such am timely issue. It is an aspect that resonates with people’s current lifestyles. Buying material, prepping food, cooking the food, plating and even eating and washing the dishes can all be included in the testing process. In the video, you would be positioned as judge giving out grades to the recipes and the different plating techniques you’ve tried. Show us the TEST! Give yourself grades and comments.
Including so many aspects of tests, how did you sequence the test? Is the curation intentional? Other than the tests you are depicting, your video includes other supportive scenes that function as wallpapers. For example, the flower scene and the water pouring scene at the start of the video. Are these scenes and objects metaphorical? If they are, the messages are not conveyed to us through the video, rather they distracted us from the narrative. Try re-watching your video again and pick out the most compelling scenes in your video.
