Film industry is full of taboos and rituals whether it’s horror or comedy! There’s things we do and many more we don’t. I’m not sure if it’s out of superstition, or simply just a habit of respecting traditions. Filmmakers create something out of nothing so our imagination run wild no matter what genre we are working on. I don’t recall any “additional” taboos while filming Rigor Mortis, we kept it professional. But yes, I do burn joss stick each day before filming, pray for a safe filming day for the crew and pay respect to the locations and beings – seen or unseen! 🙂
