The story happens in the artificial world which hyper-intimates the urban spaces; the dim lighting and raining scene evoke the emotion of sadness. I think this “environment”/ “set constructions” can be developed via human-drawing or AI assistance.

This is good, just be aware that when bringing thunderstorm or lightning element into a scene, it is easy to create a scary / thriller atmosphere which may overwhelm the sadness.
