Stop-motion video by a static camera shows isolated individuals in MTR
Some films focus on our everyday life and try to make what is mundane visible. For example, the film, Behind the yellow line, makes MTR the main scene of a love story. However, the MTR now is quite different from what was pictured in the 1980s. Instead of a place where a great many stories happen, the MTR now becomes an interesting place that is busy, crowded but individually isolated. When we pay attention to what most people are doing, we will notice that the smartphone is the most common element in the MTR. Everyone is no close to each other in distance but highly isolated in interaction. This can be magnified by filming techniques.
For example, the video above is using the stop-motion, static camera and cropping techniques. With a static camera, it is easier to see how busy and dynamic the MTR is. By using stop-motion, we can see in every photo, individuals are isolated and most commonly using their phones. These techniques help to express the feeling of isolation in busy atmosphere in the MTR.

Great choice of topic, which is also clearly executed through your short clips. I think your stop motion and montages are particularly successful in depicting the idea of isolation, along with the low camera angle you have chosen. It would be even better if you could focus on one element of isolation in each clip to create a series of different types of isolation. For example, the unexpected camera location, you could just focus on the handrails throughout different train cars and emphasize the isolation of touch. In general, great clips!
