Isolation/differentiation of speeds
The tram is relatively slow when being compared to other transportation means nowadays. In the video, I captured a taxi and a double decks bus.
Framing
The tall buildings (“Tang Lou”) are located at both sides of the street and create 3 sides of a rectangular frame. The video capture the traffic flow at dusk in North Point.

At the Wan Chi, I stood in the back of our tram and capture the tram following us on the same railway.
Normally, a photographer will choose the front side of a tram and shoot at the direction the tram goes. In that case, the video will only show the railway in front of the tram. However, shooting at the back of the tram not only provide a new view, but also create a chance for the interaction between the tram behind us. The distance between the two trams keeps changing, and the size of the tram behind keeps changing in the video. Also, I used the time-lapse photography tactic to enhance the stability of the picture and emphasize the motion of the tram.
Slow motion

I record the process of walking down the twisting stairs of the double decks tram in a slow mode, in which I emphasis the stairs’ structure.

I choose to take the view of the sky through the opening window of the upper deck of the tram and recorded the moving buildings.

Quite nice to express the figure and ground effect using the moving and static motions captured between 2 trams.
Good to document the building facades along the tramway, can think more what do you discover. The first person view to express the twisting stairs, which is interesting, can be more successful if a the camera can be hold more steady.
