(The good wishes written on the 揮春 in the background are contrasted with the disparity that looms within the household. It’s satirical because all cheering and jubilance that happened not long ago during the CNY seemed to just disappear without noticing. This shows that not only did the pandemic affected on a physical level, it even damaged our inner mental states. I just hope that someday, when we finally get to leave our house with our faces breathing, the joy of festivity could rejuvenate.)

Overall, you demonstrate a good understanding of the task and there is a consistency in your choice of subject/s in each photographs. The photographs also convey a narrative sense that you consider the relationships between you (the camera eye and subject), the objects and rooms/spaces you move within. Good decision with the View Frame shot as it kicks off the collection. Perspective shot is intriguing – is this possibly conveying the view of your pet dog/cat or you trapped and crawling on the floor?
Focus – try unfocusing everything else but your sneakers and the mat to heighten the focus
Bird’s Eye/Aerial – bring your camera lens higher and/or tilt it down more vertically to dramatize the aerial/top-down effect
Worm’s Eye – This is a well-composed shot. To get it to be more a worm’s eye view, direct your camera lens more vertically upwards (think the reverse direction of the aerial view)
Skew – good try but not quite a skewed view, which is usually an atypical, unexpected view where subjects/objects/perspective lines are skewed.
Seriality – Wish you show more in the 24 hours to give a stronger sense visually that the series was shot in 24 hours. For example, 1 shot per hour so 24 in the series, of use another parameter to determine the frequency and number of photographs. This will be visually strong so that it does not rely only on your text annotation to get a sense of the time.
There is clear evidence of thoughtful reflections through the visuals and accompanying text descriptions.
