Cold Eyes was originally a Hong Kong film. It was redirected by Jo Ui-Seok and Kim Byeong-Seo and released in 2013. The film is about a police surveillance team who identified, monitored, and chased an armed robbery group and a leader named James. Most of the scenes were shot in the city center of Seoul.
