Throughout the film, I noticed that whenever songs are being played, the lyrics would also appear on the screen like in karaoke. Is there a particular reason for this choice? Also, whenever the scene conveys the couple together, there would be objects such as blurred lights or poles blocking part of the view. I really like the way that you used the mirrors or glasses to reflect the face of the characters or the image of buildings in the newly constructed city. May I know how did you discover these angles or objects to do such effects? Did you actually went to the sites and jot down the ways that the camera should be placed before filming the scenes? Or, you just simply improvised the film?

There are a lot of shots in the movie that don’t show the characters’ faces, such as a female descending a staircase where only the lower half of her body is filmed in motion as she walks down the staircase, and a shot of singing in a karaoke bar where all the surrounding area is blurred, and only the distant view of the two people in the center, sitting on the couch, is clear.
