[Field Homework 2] Quarantine

[Medium shot, cut] Time seems to fly when one finally gets a chance to go for a walk in these times.

[Wide angle, stable camera shot] The junction, usually bustling with traffic and pedestrians is at an odd serenity.

[First person view] Hanging through the viral outbreak is like walking through a never-ending tunnel, when can people breath freely again?

[Over the shoulder, focus shot] The focus shifts from my shoulder to the empty tables of the food stalls, seemingly operated by a skeleton crew as there are few customers.

[Zoom out, panning shot] Zooming put from a residential cluster, then panning the camera to reveal the proposed designated clinic for handling suspected cases. The virus is kept at arms-length, danger is more proximate than one might think.

Some good attempts at testing the camera techniques. Love the first clip where you stitched together two clips that are shot at different times to indicate the appreciation we have for being outdoors during the pandemic. With the zoom out technique in the last clip, the clinic appears monstrous compared to the residential buildings that look vulnerable beside it. To make your collection more compelling, consider having a focused journey or infrastructure that you would like to shoot. With the variety of videos and subjects you are having, curation of the video sequence becomes extremely important. Further, why did you name your piece quarantine while all the videos are shot outdoors? Finally, could you identify for us the location of each of these videos?
