01:Static camera on YOSHINOYA, few customers since the restaurant stops supplying single hotpot.
02:Static camera on salespeople, both sales and customers wear masks.
03:Slow motion to catch the view of double_decker bus, the second floor of the bus is empty.
04:Oblique angle shot of the street, cars, and walkers still going out like normal days.
05:Camera is tracking the small commodity store, people walking along the street like normal days but with masks, passing through the store and been attracted by the commodities. The goods outside just by the street have been changed to napkins and alcohol hand rubs, in this special time, goods with “alcohol” are very useful to catch customers.

Appreciate the street-level insight of Hong Kong’s new normalcy under these times of covid-19. Your videos sit at the boundry between being journalistic and vouyeristic, due mostly to the fact of how and where the camera is positioned. In particular I want to point out the following:
01: Why black and white for this video? Any particular reason?
02: It was not too clear that your intended focus was on the salespeople and the customers. A better camera technique for this would be “crop” or “zoom”
03: This slow motion was similar to the first static video in terms of framing and composition of the scene. Why slow motion in particular?
05: It was not overt that the focus were on the products in the store (similar to my comment to your second video).
For your final assignment, it would be great to see you expand your experimentations with camera technique. Carefully consider how best to highlight the point you want to make, and choose the best framing technique for it.
Finally, could you identify for us the location of each of these videos?
