[Field-Homework 2] Special Preventive Actions

A particular rubbish bin in the lobby for the disposal of mask.

Technique used: slow-motion

Special notice about preventive measures was stuck up.

Technique used: Dutch angle

A special reminder in the elevator.

Technique used: Zooming

Using my knuckle instead of my fingertip to press the elevator button.

Technique used: Jump cut

Several vacant office units for renting and selling in the Argyle Centre.

Technique used: Point of view (POV)

For the fourth video, I used jump cut in order to show the sequence of events without spending too much time on moving the camera from one place to another, from one angle to another. Therefore, I could emphasize the most important action in the clip of pressing the button. Not only using jump cut can save time and exclude irrelevant content but also enhancing the excitement of the clip. Without using the jump cut technique, the fast-moving camera angle is dizzy.

Good attempt in using various camera techniques. From your text description, it appears that you have been testing the techniques with the contents. Why did you use the Dutch angle for video 2? The perspective could be one of someone falling or bending over or being chased. Is that your intention? If not, how would you modify this video to better convey your intention? For video 5, the camera seems to look at the empty unit from a lower level than that of an average adult. If this is really so, what is your intention?
