Paul Rudolph’s complex in Admiralty, the Lippo center, is the antagonistic mechanical manufacturer Hanka corporation headquarters in Shirow’s Ghost in the Shell. Lippo center marks a distinction between itself and other skyscrapers through its dark-blue tempered glass cladding. Lippo center podium on Sunday is a shelter for the foreign domestic workers. The building is supported by pilotis on the ground, which strongly consolidates the ground condition. Lippo center developed seems complex and futuristic at first glance, characterized by its dynamic lines and strong geometries. Photographs were collected in relation to the architectural and social elements of Lippo centers that correlates to the futuristic theme from Shirow’s film.
