[Field-Homework 1] my cOroNa daily program: *one EXTRA step*

Bird’s Eye: 9am, hmm, the start of a new day.

First-person view: Yes, no one will look at the lower half of my face, so only makeup for my upper half.

Worm’s Eye: Time for some mask shopping, which shoe?

Perspective: Urgh, virus posters even in lifts, I am tired of this virus.

Crop: Jotting my “out of home” time at the building lobby, sucks doing that everytime I go out.

Seriality: *One EXTRA step of the day*: 0.4km to the nearest drugstore. Walk, along backstreets. Walk, along sideways. Walk, NO MASKS? Sad. Walk, back to home // The masks, the only reason why I walk outdoors after the outbreak of the coronavirus. It is also an extra step compared to my normal daily routines. The nearest drugstore is quite far as a walker, but it is an inevitable step to prevent danger. However, masks are very competitive these days, therefore not every walk is successfully awarded and worth it.

Wide Angle: Oh god, the steepest road to home, and I have wasted time for that unachievable mask.

Zoom: Under the microscope (Bacteria behind mask after 4 hours, DO NOT REUSE MASKS)

Focus: Need an ethanol wipe for my phone, as I have read an article that a phone is even dirtier than a washroom.

View Frame: The sky looks so contagiously contaminated, just like the virus.

Skewed Angle: Work, work, work, just like a normal day.

Chiaroscuro: End, lights off, night, repeat after tonight.

  1. Eunice says:

An insightful look into a day amid the ongoing virus situation, narrated like a diary. Love the end of your series with the Chiaroscuro.
BIrd’s Eye – a clever start to the series on the day’s of your life amid the virus situation. Instead of seeing the ceiling above when you awake, we see the floor below. This unexpected view sets the tone for the rest of the photographs.
Zoom – Do you have a scientific microscope in your home? fascinating.
Seriality – appreciate your narration of steps as physical steps and the number of steps you take
Overall, the images can be more consistently presented to demonstrate your grasp of each individual technique.
