[Mood Board] Melt

With so many things coming up in my mind when I think about what a life we have spent during the special period, I then rethink about the relationship between objects. Our lives are different with the lives before. Now we study at home, have dinner with families everyday, chat with friends online and “travel” online. The time seems to flows backwards at a moment and some fading memories start to remind us of our childhood, of the past and of ourselves, many things that never change.

    – An evocative collection of images – there is much to play with here; especially provocative are the drawing impressions and photographs of natural landscapes/elements (if they are created by you) that are seen from the apartment interior looking out.
    – Introduce a clear research question in your documentary – what exactly is it questioning or reflecting on? Think about how you will be introducing/presenting the various elements in your documentary – the human subjects and inanimate objects, the spaces they inhabit, the interior, the exterior… may consider using a combination of original stills (or even stop motion created from the stills) and video footages.
    – What are you referring to with “MELT”? How does the documentary present/unpack this idea or condition?
