We adored Hong Kong. We idolized it all out of proportion. No matter what the season was, this was still a city that existed in colorful metallic luster and pulsated to the great tunes of the theme song of The Wolf of Wall Street. We thrived on the hustle bustle of the crowds and the traffic.To some, Hong Kong meant beautiful women and bank-smart guys who seemed to know all the angles. To some, it was a metaphor for the decay of contemporary culture. To some, it was a metaphor for the decay of contemporary culture. How hard it was to exist in a society desensitized by materialistic, loud music, fouls, sex, garbage. To some, as tough and romantic as the city they loved. Hong Kong was the town.
