Under the streetlight

Under the spread of coronavirus, surgical mask becomes an icon of the crisis. Streets at nighttime show litter in daytime while mask is the new member. Besides, economic impacts hit every business in Hong Kong, even 24-hour convenience store. This 7-11 store closes at 11 p.m. everyday, probably a method to reduce operational cost.

Overall, a well-considered collection of photographs. You demonstrate a thorough understanding of the task and your ideas are clearly expressed visually. Especially well-executed in terms of techniques and compositions are the Wide angle, Worm’s eye, First person’s view, Skewed angle, Framed and Chiaroscuro shots.
Appreciate the wittiness in your First person’s view – The lens is blur. You’ve been working hard! The visual dialogue set up between the Skewed angle view and the Perspective view is compelling. There is also a film noir color tint to this pair of photographs. Likewise, the visual dialogue between the View frame and Chiaroscuro shots are also very effective in conveying the sense of perpetually being indoors – viewing out, not viewing out.
    The Seriality shots are missing?!
