Colours of the MTR

Red, Green and Yellow LED lights

These bright colour lights can be found in the train itself and the doors. The bright colours draw attention to the user and the  blinking movement brings liveliness to the MTR.

Black and Silver

As an important mode of transportation, the MTR has to be easily accessible by all, including the handicapped.  Black represents the tracks for the visually handicapped and Silver represents the lift for the physically handicapped.

I chose to use speed to show  the difference between the route of the handicapped and the able person.  Initially, I thought that there would be a lot of difference but the video shows that the difference is marginal, but of course it would depend on the station itself. But, generally the MTR stations are easily accessible and easy to navigate.

White

White is represented by the many advertisements you find in the MTR. The glaring white lights of the advertisement boards screams at you for attention.

Rainbow

In this video montage, we see the many colours of the Island Line, as though we are flipping through a catalog to pick where we will go for our next adventure.

Great work! I think you have a lot of good ideas and they are execute quite clearly in your clips. I would suggest that you can even focus on just one specific aspect and explore it more thoroughly. For example, in Black and Silver, you can consider the element of sound as they navigate through the station or the angle these people might be looking at. You should definitely keep in mind these great observations, and the next step is to develop a visual method to express these findings.
