Field Trip 3: Yee Wo Street Footbridge

Mood Board

The footbridge leaning across Yee Wo Street was built in 1963. It has provided convenience to Hong Kong people for more than 4 decades and started to lose its original function when zebra crossings were added underneath. Nowadays, the bridge mainly caters domestic workers during Sundays and public holiday. Even though it is very crowded on Sundays, I can still feel the entertaining holiday time people are enjoying. Its circular structure easily links people up. No matter how you walk, you will still come across the same person on the other end.
