A day in the life – Invisible threats and laughters

(wide angle) The word ‘有死無生’ appears, meaning we’re not going to survive this time, refers to the social movement, following the dreadful disease, burdening a huge pressure.

(First person view) Should I wear the mask while running on the harbourfront?

(Worm eye) Why people looks so different, whatever, I’ll just stay here.

(Focus) A Woman trying to pay and queue again for the sanitizer and face mask.

(Crop) A shoes shop in State Theatre are going to close down.

(Zoom) Residents are queuing for the free sanitizer distributed by some federal association, even passengers in the bus are curious of what happening due to the tense environment

(Aerial/Bird eye) Used to be crowed with people, now they are afraid of taking a taxi.

(Perspective) People are more aware of hygiene, but the high density of the district, it is hardly to belief disease could be controlled especially in market.

(Skew angle) The special task force of preventing disease outspread.

(View Frame): Seems the virus didn’t block people with different ethics come together having a game.

(Chiaroscuro / Contrast) A day or night? makes no difference

(Seriality) Things I should bring and remove to reduce the risk of infection.

View Frame: Confronting the disease to outspread, fear is understandable. It builds up barrier between people, some would choose staying at home minimizing the rate of being infected, some would choose to continue their social activities. I am joyful to see people playing in the football ground, it is rare to see now. Acceptance and equality are deemed as important for a sustainable society, no matter we choose to hide from the fence from keeping a distance, playing with friends, staying at home and freedom of choice is something driving the society on.

You demonstrate a good grasp of the expectations of the task. The annotations to the series of photographs and the description of the view frame present a reflective commentary that is at once autobiographical but also descriptive of the current behavioural norms. Some insightful compositions here:
Wide angle -this bridge is a good choice of location for testing out the wide angle
View Frame – a poignant decision to consider this as a framed view rather than for the Focus shot. Do you mean to suggest that people of different ethnicities coming together to play soccer is at once an expression of freedom to play and yet trapped in the city?
Chiaroscuro – a nice composed image at a tilted angle. What is the reason for the tilt?
A few other shots need technical adjustments:
Worm’s eye – at the moment, the view is more that of the cat or someone crouching low. Move the camera lens much lower to the ground, or even on the ground and tilt up to get a more accurate worm’s eye view (Imagine the opposite view of the google earth aerial)
Perspective – needs to be rotated 90 degrees to the right
