[Field-Homework 1] Life in my room during COVID-19

wide angle

This is an overview outlook of the space I spent most of the time in last month.

zoom

An essential hardware for me to play flight sim games in this moody period.

Focus

It’s not a really good time to gather the stamps…because stay at home most of the time haha.

Crop

Good “friend” have stayed on top of my desktop dusty for a long time, but it have accompanied me again from last month.

aerial/birdeye

How outside is like when look out from the room window.

worm eye

Desktop and power cable, the most frequently used items except phone when staying at home…

First person view

Maybe a good choice to take a nap when nothing to do.

skewed angle

It’s also a good time to read the newly bought books and re-read some of the favourites.

Perspective

Perspective of no one stay inside the room…may be sleep already?

view frame

It reminds me the tutorial lectures attended in high school, you never saw the tutor in face to face, but in the video or on social media with thousands of “likes”

Chiaroscuro / Contrast

Some times you feel moody and tired these days, why don’t have a brighter room and have a good look out?

Seriality

The doll seems cute and sit next/on the table accompany me haha.

In the first person view photo, I have chosen to capture my first angle of view look towards my lower half body on the bed , the space is simlliar angle of what patient in hospital and quarantine people mostly first look like when they see themselves on bed . It can let people to imagine how would they face the COVID-19 if it appers on them and reminded that all of us should maintain high standards of hygiene.

Appreciate your insightful series of stills that give us access into a normally private aspect of one’s lives. This is a good attempt at documenting the mundane (now normalized) indoor life and pairing the images with captions that voice your thoughts, doubts, and concerns.
Perspective – this shot is technically a view frame since, in this photo, we are seeing into your room through the door frames.
First Person View – this shot triggers a rather bleak yet realistic prospect of being hospitalized, which you describe this clearly in the description. Although, without the text, it would have been harder to discern that we were seeing the lower half of your body and grasp the full extent of this image’s provocation.
Overall well done with capturing LIFE IN YOUR ROOM.
