  1. Ina Wu says:

Your selection of photos conveys the idea of absence clearly with a focus on restriction methods applied and empty portals. The desaturated color tone of the photos helped to express the narration better. However, to enhance the images as a set, try to apply only one or two filters with a clear message to tell.
Some of the photo techniques can be improved, for example:
Bird-Eye and Worm-Eye: The former refers to the view from above, like a google earth view (Literally a bird’s view when in flight in the sky). The latter refers to a view directly from below – literally what a worm sees when it looks up.
Focus and Crop: The two images can be switched to better express the techniques. For your crop photo, it better expresses the technique “focus” where the lock is in focus and the background is blurred. Whereas your focus photo shows the action of cropping better.
First-person view: The photo would better express first-person view if an action of either your own or the security guard’s shows is captured.

Overall your text show clarity of the idea you want to convey. View frame photo is also strategically shot to include not only the multiple frames of the vacant space but the action of exit. It showcases the idea of emptiness with clarity.
