Overall there is a yellow sepia tone which conveys a sense of melancholy through the photographs. Like your use of Pepe to personify your mood and typical postures in your room. Recommend that you minimize the variables in the trio of photographs in Seriality so that the visual effect will be more impactful. For example, keep Pepe in the same posture but only change the receptable/seat he is in. Consider also whether to modify or keep constant the location and the lighting/time of day. Your perspective view is intriguing – took a few seconds to locate and identify what it is. The Cropped shot of the minions seem to be in dialogue with Pepe in Seriality (intentional?) First person view is clear, could make a good start of a series as well.
There are a number of photographs that could be improved to better demonstrate the particular technique. For example,
Contrast – great choice of subject though the contrast is more in terms of the contents but not quite visually expressed. Consider heightening their difference through color or density or heights etc.
Zoom – how is this image is more specifically a Zoomed in photograph in comparison to a cropped or focused one? To distinguish them, it will be helpful for you to set up a logic for the series so that each is clearer.
BIrd’s Eye – bring camera to a much higher position to look downwards or tilt the camera lens more vertically downwards
Generally a good attempt though the second part of the task – to write a paragraph description for one of the techniques and how it conveys the crisis – is missing(?)
