Imaginary worlds refer to fictional settings created through space. These worlds are often intricately designed and serve as the backdrop for stories, adventures, and exploration. They can range from fantastical realms filled with magic and mythical creatures to futuristic societies set in space or alternate realities. They can also serve as a reflection or prediction of the world, with influences from society and politics as well as contemporary social issues and trends. Through these worlds, creators can give the target audience a glimpse into another parallel reality and possibly immerse into experiencing a parallel reality other than the one we have now. When talking about cybercities, they are fictional predictions of technologically advanced cities where the virtual and physical worlds converge. In cybercities, individuals can engage in virtual experiences, interact with digital avatars, and access vast amounts of information and entertainment. Innovation, technology and virtual experiences allow people to explore a whole new dimension of humanity. At the same time, cybercities also bring about issues such as increasing risks of privacy, and the dangerous boundaries between the real and the virtual. Overall, imaginary worlds and cybercities enable creators to push their boundaries in realising the imagined world of the future and offer a sense of anticipation for the future of technology not only for the audience, but also to satisfy their own Sci-Fi fantasies.
