From Wu Shuang : What factors need to be considered when deciding when the costume of characters will change in athe movie, apart from the plot?
We must always respect the script and carefully analyse how the story (plot) unfold. As the costume designer, we also valuate the narrative arcs of all characters and the overall orchestration of the costumes. Plan how the various different costumes will harmonise with each other to tell the story as one unified visual element is also something we must pay a lot of attention.
