[Field-Homework 1] Restricted areas

Wide-angle: natural and manmade art
Zoom: watching people walk by
Focus: exhaustion fan installed for better air quality
Crop: barrier
Bird’s eye: emptiness
Worm’s eye: Being Dwarfed
First-person view: A good time for injury, I guess
Skewed angle: Domestic temptation
Perspective: the Substitution
View frame: What I see
Chiaroscuro: Hidden danger.

This technique allows us to capture something we would not normally see, emphasizing the fact the virus could be on every surface. It may be possible that a person can get the virus by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes.

Seriality: Born into danger

  1. Eunice says:

You demonstrate a good grasp of the expectations of the task and have shown that you understand the different techniques.
There are a number of thoughtful and innovative thinking that goes behind some of these photographs, particularly:
Focus – good choice of subject that is relevant to ongoing concerns with fresh air circulation
Worm’s eye – good classic shot that contrasts with the bird’s eye (top-down) view
Perspective – this unexpected view produces a beautiful effect
Seriality – the subject is a nice surprise
Continue to work on developing a stronger sensibility towards each image and their sequencing, both in terms of the contents, colors, tones and compositions, so that they are not only strong visual communication individually but also as an overall collection.
